Now that most of people are trying to installing IE9 there are lot of issues people are facing for getting IE9 installed. In this article I’ll suggest few steps that could resolve such issues.
Step 1: It was told before that we need Windows 7 Service pack 1 to install IE9 but Microsoft conformed that we don’t need Service pack 1 to install IE9. But we need to make sure your Windows is update to date i.e. all critical updates should be applied. The main update that Microsoft recommends to install or prerequisite to install is KB2454826 This update provides new functionality and performance improvement for the graphics platform. This update resolves some streaming issues that are related to Media Foundation.
Step 2: Disable all the Security software like Firewall, Antivirus, and Antispyware etc. because security software tend to block files that installs with IE9 that might cause the install to fail so make sure you you disable all of them at the time of install.
Step 3: This is a generic step to resolve most of the issues with Windows 7. Yes you guess rite run SFC /SCANNOW.
Step 4: Run the Windows Update troubleshooting build into Windows. · Start | under search type in Troubleshoot · Under Troubleshoot select System and Security
· Under there Select Windows Update and run the troubleshoot and see if that fixes or finds any problem.
Step 5: If none of the step fixes it then the final step I would recommend is
Hope this would resolve your problem.
well i think ie9 not worth wasting your mb’s because it has three features::
1:Slower
2:Richer(in number of Bugs)
3:Better (because it open for one second and gets terminated automatically )
So if you have the Courage to install ie9 and if somehow it works please let me know :D:D
